Okay! Here we go! Let's limit our government.
The government: can not, must not, shall not, may not!!!
In the articles of the Constitution, we discovered how our government was supposed to function and who does what. The Amendments now turn around and limit the powers of our servants.
Amendment I: (emphasis is mine)
Congress shall make NO law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free
exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people
peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Hence, the people can start a religion and pray to whomever they wish, anyway they wish at anytime
they wish. So, Christians, Buddhists, Hindu's, Muslims or even atheists may pray or not pray if, when and where they wish. So, why then can't a student pray over his/her food at lunch and give thanks? Freedom of speech should guarantee them that right. Where does the Supreme Court get off telling us that
we (Christians) can't pray. I see Muslim's in Las Vegas (mostly taxi cab driver's) park their taxi's in the staging area at the Aria Hotel, get out of their cars, unroll their prayer blanket, face Mecca, get down on their knees and bow down (kowtow) and say their prayers in public for all to see. Why aren't they stopped if Christians aren't allowed to pray over their food (say Grace, Bless and give Thanks), shouldn't
other religions be stopped from their public display of their beliefs? The answer of course, is they shouldn't be stopped; nor should the Christians be stopped from expressing themselves in public. SHAME ON THE ACLU AND THE SUPREME COURT for infringing upon the rights of the
sovereign citizens of this country to freely express themselves as guaranteed under the 1st Amendment
of the Constitution.
Feel free to comment on the 1st Amendment.
Until next time I am Eldee Charles Spratt, "The" American Patriot. I'm running for President of the United States; and, I want your support and vote. Thank You.
Just in case you think you'll miss Obama, I promise to pull out my pen and write a bunch of executive orders bypassing the Congress and side stepping the Constitutional process. (Just Kidding!!).
